Comments

  1. Jacqueline Dirman, PE, CME, CFM - Maser Consulting - Township Engineer
    1. It is important to install and preserve a substantial physical barrier / demarcation between the parking area and any seating / dining area;
    2. If the applicant intents to add additional seating to the adjacent lot (west), a barrier must be a focal point and must be able to obstruct / stop vehicles.
  2. Matt Lubin, Fire Official - Cranford Fire Department

    2. Noted that he will be available to provide guidance regarding indoor seating capacity once indoor dining is permitted as per State guidance
  3. Mike Fitzpatrick, Health Official
    1. Noted he will also be available to provide guidance regarding health requirements once indoor seating is permitted again

  6. Jason Bottcher, AICP, CFM - Zoning Officer

    2. Emphasized that safety must be the priority.
    3. Noted that approvals are only valid through December 31, 2020, and any plans to make outdoor seating a permanent fixture of the business will require an application to the Planning Board.
