It is important for all property owners and prospective buyers to understand their potential exposure to flood risk. With that in mind, Township staff are able to answer questions about your property and the degree of risk it may be exposed to. Additionally, FEMA provides several resources so you can easily perform the research yourself.
FEMA Flood Map Service Center - Review the FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) and dowload PDF copies of flood maps;
Zoning Map of the Township of Cranford - Floodplain Overlay District emphasized;
Note that this map is not to be used to determine your zoning district but solely to illustrate the Floodplain Overlay District.
You must have Google Earth installed to use the Stay Dry;
FEMA's Stay Dry version 2.0 Documentation (PDF File)
