Tap Water Quality - May 16, 2019

This week it came to our attention that some residents are experiencing taste and odor issues with the drinking water. These issues don’t pose a health concern and The American Water Company adjusted a treatment at the plant to correct this. They are continuously monitoring drinking water supply to ensure they meet EPA Water Quality Guidelines. The treatment adjustments made in the plant can take 2-3 days to take the full effect and resolve these issues. In addition, the Fire Department will be flushing the hydrants in various areas of the Township to help remediate the problem.
