New Jersey American Water is asking Township of Cranford Customers to Limit Non-Essential Water Usage

New Jersey American Water is asking Township of Cranford customers to limit their water use to essential purpose only as crews work to repair a transmission main leak in Piscataway, N.J. and fully restore the flow of water to its system. The advisory was issued as a result of loss of water pressure. Customers are being asked to limit all non-essential water use until further notice, including all outdoor watering. Cranford is not in the mandatory “boil water” area. New Jersey American Water is working to resolve the issue as quickly and safely as possible. When conditions improve, customers will be notified by New Jersey American Water via emergency notification system when they can return to normal water usage.
