Congratulations on the Promotions of Bn. Chief Petschow and Lt. Ditzel; New Hire Call Firefighter Literate

Congratulations to Lieutenant Doug Petschow on his promotion to Battalion Chief, Firefighter Wes Ditzel III on his promotion to Lieutenant, and Call Firefighter Travis Literate on his appointment as a probationary firefighter to the Cranford Fire Department (CFD).

Battalion Chief Petschow will be assigned as a Tour-3 shift commander and CFD training officer. Battalion Chief Petschow has been a career member of the CFD for 10 years. Lt. Ditzel has been a career member of the CFD for nine years.

Lt. Ditzel will be assigned to Tour-3. Lt. Ditzel is also a fire instructor for the Union County Fire Academy.

Call Firefighter Literate will be assigned to Tour-1. Firefighter Literate has served as a CFD call firefighter for two years and a per diem CFD EMT. Firefighter Literate is also a member of the Roselle Park Fire Department.
