Water Emergencies
- Make sure sump pump is clear of all debris.
- Make sure the float is working properly.
- Make sure the sump pump is plugged in properly.
- Make sure the discharge hose is away from the house.
- Keep items and storage up off the floor if you get water in the basement often.
SNOW EMERGENCIES
- Please try to keep walks and steps cleared so emergency personnel (Police, Fire or EMS) can reach you quickly and safely.
- Try to clear snow away from the fire hydrant near your property.Please don’t shovel or blow snow onto the fire hydrant.
- Use caution with filling and storing gasoline containers used for snow blowers.
- Never try to clear a clogged snow blower with it still running.
