You must be 16 years old to work at the Cranford Pool and Fitness Center.

Professional CPR/AED, First Aid and STAR Training (Basic Water Safety) are required for all staff. Training provided if hired.

We are currently hiring for the following 2018 summer positions:

Lifeguards – Must have current, up to date certifications for CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Lifeguarding/First Aid.  Must be able to successfully complete a Lifeguard Practical Skills Screening.  

Swim Instructors – Must have current, up to date Starfish Swim Instructor certification. Must be able to successfully complete a Swim Instructor Practical Skills Screening.

Desk Attendants – Current CPR and First Aid certifications recommended. Looking for friendly, punctual, dependable, customer service driven applicants. Primary duties comprise of assisting in the daily operations of the pool and fitness center. This includes, but is not limited to, checking members into the facility, handling membership transactions, opening and closing the facility, answering phone calls, greeting guests and providing correct information about the facility and ensuring a clean and safe environment.

Fitness Center Attendants – Current CPR and First Aid certifications recommended. Ability to properly and safely operate all fitness related equipment, including but not limited to, treadmills, stair climbers, stationary bicycles, and strength equipment.

Kidz Klub Camp Counselors — Current CPR and First Aid certifications recommended. We are looking for energetic camp counselors who will enjoy interacting with children, while fostering a safe and comforting environment to all participants. The qualified candidates will have a drive to succeed and have a background or genuine interest in caregiving or childhood education and development. -- SUMMER ONLY

Recreation Assistants — Current CPR and First Aid certifications recommended. Assist Recreation Supervisor with everyday recreational activities. Ability to follow the recreation schedule provided. Manage the daily operations of recreational facilities.  Organize, lead, and promote interest in recreational activities such as arts, crafts, sports, games and hobbies. -- SUMMER ONLY
