Block by Block

There are so many streets to explore in Cranford and so many wonderful businesses spread throughout the downtown area. We wanted to take you on a tour of downtown, block by block, highlighting businesses that you may already know about and also help you discover some new ones.

First up is the 100 block of Walnut Ave. Walking past the Wells Fargo building, you come to Voa Salon & Studio. The salon is owned by Ana Gomes and opened in downtown Cranford in 2012.

A few steps past Voa, 107 Walnut Ave contains the nail salon The Total Look, as well as Hull-Vicci Construction.

Across the street, H&R Block is the first business on the corner of South Ave. and Walnut.

The Amber Feather, a store known for its selection of vintage and gently used clothing and accessories, is owned by local fashionista Heather Force.

If you continue down the block, you’ll come to Café Paris, known for its delicious crepes and inviting Parisian atmosphere.

Finishing out that row of buildings are Lifeline Technology Solutions and the auto insurance company, NJ Driver.com.

The Jumble Store, located at 110 Walnut Ave., is run by the Junior League of Elizabeth-Plainfield and is a non-profit thrift store. The Jumble Store has been a part of the downtown community since 1933!

Yvette Dance Studio, another long-standing downtown business, offers a variety of dance classes for students of all ages and skill levels.

Finishing up the block is the beautiful yellow house where the dentist Dr. Thomas Pijanowski has his business.
