The parade will begin at 2 p.m. at the Cranford Community Center. It will continue west on Walnut Avenue, north across South and North Avenue, up North Union Avenue, across Alden and end at the Gazebo in Parking Lot #1 (near the Fire Dept.).

Don’t miss the Pumpkin Chunkin at 2:30 p.m., followed by the awards presentation. Awards will be given out for Best Costume in the following age groups: 0-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, and 12-16.  Other categories include: adult/child team, group, hand-pulled mini floats and pets.

Parade escorts include the Cranford High School Marching Band, Cranford Police Department, Cranford Fire Department, and the Cranford Emergency Squad.

The Halloween Parade and Pumpkin Chunkin, now in its 18th year, has become a Cranford tradition.  This is a great family event that the kids are guaranteed to love.  Please be sure to bring out your little ghouls and goblins for the parade or just come down to cheer them on.
